Generic Name:  25% Glucose anhydrous Intravenous Infusion B.P.

Clinical Indication:

LAKSOL-25  is an intravenous solution that contains glucose it indicated for;Fluid replacement, Dehydration, Severe Hypoglycaemia. Dextrose 25% Injection 100 ml contains Dextrose, a simple sugar that helps in replacing the fluids and carbohydrates in the body. Thereby, it helps in treating and preventing dehydration. Also, Dextrose 25% Injection 100 ml works by quickly increasing blood sugar levels and helps to treat very low blood sugar in diabetic patients. Dextrose 25% Injection 100 ml is used when a patient is unable to drink enough liquids or when extra fluids are needed.

Dosage will be dependent upon individual patient circumstances, such as age, weight and clinical condition and is determined by the attending physician.
